Erika Rylander
Owner, Operations Manager
Erika Rylander is co-owner and operations manager of Living in Legacy Counseling. She enjoys keeping things organized and running efficiently. Erika is a spreadsheet master and finds it fun to create a system to track any type of data. She keeps the team informed and handles all things finances and scheduling. Chances are, if you call with a question or to book an appointment, Erika will be there to assist you. She loves to help match clients with a clinician that fits their needs, and answer as many questions as possible to ease the anxiety clients may feel before their first session. Sometimes discussing finances or billing can be challenging, however Erika strives to always remember that people come first, business comes second. She is happy to meet you where you are, and encourage clients that there are no wrong questions.
Before opening Living in Legacy, Erika worked in the healthcare system as an X-Ray technician. She also worked in a church supervising childcare staffs, preschool ministry, and helping with the children’s portion of a recovery program. Erika has previously worked in other private practice counseling settings and found that she loves being involved in helping others access mental healthcare that fits their needs.
When not working, Erika enjoys time with her husband and their son. She is involved with volunteer work in the school system and juggling the responsibilities of a sports mom. Erika enjoys spending time with her friends, especially if board games are involved. When time allows, she loves to go home and spend time with her family in Missouri.
