Whitney Wakeland
PhD, MA, LPC
Whitney has experience in ministry, recovery programs, and other settings. Since beginning her counseling career, she has worked with a wide variety of clients from children/adolescent to adults. Whitney is passionate about helping clients who are working on healing from trauma. She loves working with teens and young adults who may be in transitional seasons or are facing overwhelming situations in their life. She also finds joy in walking with those who may be navigating difficult family circumstances and learning to find their place and purpose in life.
As a counselor Whitney believes everyone deserves a space that fosters healing and the opportunity for growth. She believes the client knows their story best, and with a little help sorting out the pieces they can begin to understand more about themselves.
A goal with every client is to provide a welcoming, safe environment where they can feel comfortable and begin working to become healthier and happier. Wherever a client may be in their journey, Whitney considers it a privilege to walk beside them.
